Tailstock and Headstock cam lock levers are placed on the back of the machine and will not get in the way. All cam lock levers have soft grip handles and a long length resulting in a firm feel with no deflection. The legs\/stand are included as standard equipment on this model.This machine suits serious hobbyist's and professionals alike. The power at your control, provides ample torque for utilising the full capacity of the machine, whether that be the 450mm (18\") swing over the bed, to the 900mm (36\") distance between centres. But if that's not enough, a full suite of optional accessories are also available.An Expansion Set consists of a 500mm (20\") step down extension, that increases the onboard capacity to an enormous 1410mm (56\")! An included riser block then allows the tailstock to travel to the end of this extension. This in turn allows you to slide the headstock to the end of the lathe for an increased bowl capacity of 800mm (32\"), with a tool rest extension included to use with your regular banjo. Perhaps you find your tailstock in the way when not in use... The Swing Away extension acts as a small 12\" bed extension, that conveniently unclips and swings out of the way when not in use.
